Manatee County Web site adds Spanish - Florida

“Manatee County officials are saying “sí­” to Spanish and have launched a Spanish-language section of the county Web site. It can be viewed by going to www.co.manatee.fl.us and clicking on the tab on the left side of the page that reads, “En Español.”

Luz Corcuera, program director for Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee, said the Web is becoming more of a common resource that Latinos turn to for information. If they do not own computers, they are seeking them out at libraries or community agencies such as Healthy Start.”
