Knowledge is Power!
“A Whitewater business owner spent the day in a Walworth County Court for his preliminary hearing facing charges of allegedly fabricating ID’s for employees.
On august eighth, police took Allen Petrie, owner of Star Packaging into custody, along with 25 of his employees. His charges are on suspicion of conspiring to commit identity theft, but his employees were detained by custom officials suspected of being illegal immigrants. Petrie and other business owners believe this was a case of racial profiling. But, the Whitewater Police Department said their focus was on Petrie… not his workers.”
