“The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada registered 500 to 700 Nevada immigrant voters this year in an effort to give the immigrant community a stronger voice in issues that affect it.

Registering voters is one thing, but getting them to show up at the polls on Election Day is another, academics said.”
