“In a little more than a month, nearly 2,000 migrant workers ”” who come to our community every spring ”” will leave the greater region for the winter season. And, each year, they leave healthier and more empowered because of Rosario Rangel.

Rosario, who has been instrumental in advocating for equal rights and better health care for our migrant , arrived in our community more than three decades ago. She understands their struggles firsthand, as her husband was a migrant worker for nearly 20 years, while she raised their five daughters.”
