Knowledge is Power!
“Democratic Gov. Bill Richardson has a wide lead over his Republican challenger in his bid for re-election, according to a new poll. The survey of 664 registered voters statewide who said they were likely to vote found 60 percent of them would cast ballots for Richardson in the Nov. 7 general election.
“Once you get to 60 percent, that’s really impressive,” said F. Chris Garcia, political science professor emeritus at the University of New Mexico. The GOP candidate, John Dendahl, was supported by 28 percent, and 12 percent said they did not know who they would vote for or are undecided. The poll was commissioned by the Albuquerque Journal, which reported the results in a copyright story Monday.”
