Popular “Mex 2 The Max” VJ Patricia Lopez has added show host to her growing resume. The Los Angeles native joins legend Rick Dees on Movin’ 93.9 – formerly country KZLA and now Dees’ new home. Both Dees and co-host Patricia Lopez will lapse into the popular mix of Spanish and English – pioneered by youth network – whenever the mood strikes during their Monday-through-Friday morning show, which will run from 5AM to 10AM.

Patricia Lopez has been with since 2001, and was the very first talent hired by the network. She has been on since day one (January 2001) and was on the first pilot shows airing on KJLA. She will continue to be one of ’s principle on-air hosts and will be seen daily as launches the network nationally in late 2006/early 2007. Lopez, a former Elite model and CBS Evening News entertainment , was chosen, Rick Dees said, because “she’s quick-witted and vivacious in front of the microphone”.

’s “Mex 2 The Max” is a two hour show that features a unique twist on regional music.
