The Latino Coalition to Release 2006 National Latino Survey; TLC Will Also Announce 2006 Congressional Endorsements

“The Board of Directors of The Latino Coalition (TLC) will release the results of the 2006 national survey of Latino adults on Tuesday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. during the 2006 Small Business Economic Summit to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The TLC Board will also announce the list of endorsements for the 2006 election cycle.

“Our survey has become the most reliable and accurate study on Hispanic political and consumer behavior in the U.S. This survey, which measures the political and consumer trends and behavior of Latino adults, will be of critical importance to analysts as we enter the last month of the 2006 election cycle,” said TLC President Robert Deposada. “The 2004 National Latino Survey was dead-on accurate in predicting the Latino vote in the 2004 elections We predicted the nine-point spread between Senator Kerry and President Bush, while all other Hispanic surveys predicted a Kerry win of over 30 points. The results of this year’s survey offer similar surprising results and highlight the future trends of Latino adults and Latino voters in the U.S.”"
