Telemundo is caught in the middle of a contract dispute between TV Azteca and the Mexican producer of its ‘Quinceañera’ reality show.
“The Mexico City production of Telemundo show Quinceañera has screeched to a halt in a contract dispute that has blown up between the producer and Mexican powerhouse TV Azteca.
Telemundo said production stopped abruptly on Friday when a large delegation from Azteca, including armed police officers wearing bulletproof vests, reporters, cameramen, lawyers and security guards, muscled their way into the Mexico City studio. They were accompanying a court clerk serving the producer with a judge’s order to temporarily stop work and impound the equipment.”
