“While the overall percentage of Hispanic students on campus is low, 1.8 percent of the student body, the number has significantly increased since last year.

“We have 434 Hispanic students at UA this fall. Last year, we had 335 Hispanic students,” said Judy Bonner, UA provost and executive vice president. “This is a 29.6 percent increase in Hispanic enrollment.”"
