“The late Spanish singer Rocio Durcal will be honored today (Thursday) by the Hispanic Heritage Society for a lifetime of contributions to music and culture. Others to be honored include Mexican ranchera singer Pedro Fernandez, actor Ignacio Lopez Tarso, who will be given the 2006 Symbol of Excellence and singer Dulce who will be represented with the 2007 Symbol of Appreciation.”
