Chairman Howard Dean & DNC’s Hispanic Caucus Host 2006 Hispanic Leadership Summit

“The Democratic National Committee and its Hispanic Caucus will host the DNC’s 2006 Hispanic Leadership Summit at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC from September 30 to October 1, 2006. The national summit, under the banner of “Community, Opportunity and Prosperity: A New Direction for America,” will unite hundreds of Hispanic community leaders, grassroots activists, and local and federal elected officials to mobilize Hispanic voters ahead of the November 7th elections.

The annual summit will include workshops and training seminars to promote Get-Out-The-Vote efforts in the Hispanic community heading into the critical midterm elections, as well as provide a forum for strengthening the Democratic Party’s long-standing ties with the Hispanic community heading into the 2008 presidential elections and beyond.”
