“While a common stereotype may be that Hispanic-owned businesses are small, relatively unsophisticated mom-and-pop operations, “we have verifiable data that shows that’s not the case,” said Olivas, also an affiliate professor at ASU’s Hispanic Research Center.

This is the second year that the Hispanic Research Center and Salt River Project joined forces to study Hispanic-owned businesses across Arizona.”
