“Eleven court and probation employees in a rural northern Indiana county are learning basic Spanish so they can help Hispanics navigate the legal system.

The employees - eight from Fulton County’s probation office and three from Superior Court - are attending a 12-week Spanish course on Wednesday nights at Rochester High School. The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute is paying their tuition.”
