“Pop is the dominant theme amid the list of nominees for the seventh annual Latin Grammys, with Shakira leading the fray with six nods.

Shakira’s sweep comes on the strength of her Spanish language album “Fijacion Oral, Vol. 1,” which up for album of the year. The single “La Tortura,” a duet with Alejandro Sanz, is nominated for song and record of the year as well. The track, which broke the record for weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, was penned by Luis Fernando Ochoa, Sanz and Shakira.”
