Latina teen vies for national title – Deborah M. Reyes of Massachusetts
“If all goes according to plan, in a few years, Deborah M. Reyes will be a pharmacist. In the meantime, she’d gladly settle for being the face and voice of young Hispanic women like herself.
Reyes, 17, a Northampton High School senior, was named Miss Teen Latina of Massachusetts at a judging in Springfield last month. On Thursday she will face competition from all over the country as she vies for the title “Miss America Latina” at the Eastern States Exposition.”
