Governor Rendell Celebrates Pennsylvania’s Hispanic Business Leaders During U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Convention

“Governor Edward G. Rendell today praised the contributions that Hispanic business leaders have made to Pennsylvania during the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (USHCC) 27th Annual National Convention and Business Expo in Philadelphia. The convention and business expo is the largest gathering of Hispanic business owners in the country.

“Hispanic business owners are a driving force in the economic revitalization of cities in Pennsylvania and across the nation,” Governor Rendell said. “The contribution of Latinos is essential to the economic growth of our state. There are more than 11,000 Hispanic-owned small businesses in Pennsylvania, which is an impressive 40-percent increase since 1997.”
