“A small sample of Hispanics in North Carolina consistently experienced much higher rates of hunger or worried more frequently about running out of food than the general population in the United States, Wake Forest University researchers said yesterday.
In a study that will be published in the October issue of The Journal of Nutrition, researchers focused on rates of hunger and “food security,” or the degree to which Hispanics might worry that food will run out.”
