“Bilingual poll workers staffed 90 percent of Springfield’s voting precincts for yesterday’s primary elections. And city officials said efforts to serve Spanish-speaking voters in light of a federal lawsuit went pretty well.
Federal observers monitored the polls in Springfield and in Boston yesterday to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act.”
