“The mayor of a suburban San Diego city says he wants to turn his city into a “sanctuary city” for undocumented immigrants.

National City Mayor Nick Inzunza said the designation would forbid all city employees and law enforcement officers from inquiring into a person’s immigration status and from enforcing federal immigration laws. “
