“On Saturday, September 16, the Texas Rangers will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night with a pre-game concert at the Dr Pepper Youth Ballpark by local band Grupo Sueño and post-game fireworks sponsored by AT&T. Hispanic Heritage Night will also include Mariachi Michoacan, Latin Music Ensemble from Booker T Washington High School, and Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth performing on the concourse prior to the start of the game. In a special pre-game ceremony, the Rangers and AT&T will honor Hispanic players and coaches from both the Rangers and the Angels with a video, awards, and presentation of flags that represent the players’ native countries. The first 25,000 through the gates that night will receive a poster commemorating the event, compliments of AT&T.”
