Only 40 people register, but organizers stress longer view

“Saturday’s daylong drive at Dallas City Hall was billed as a mega vote rally.

Maybe next time.

Five months after an estimated 500,000 people marched through downtown in an immigration rally, only 40 people registered to vote between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Saturday’s event.”
