Knowledge is Power!

“Old men smack dominoes on a cluster of tables in a Little Havana park. Nearby, a young woman steams milk for a cortadito. A few blocks away, another woman uses an old lipstick case to help shape a hand-rolled cigar.

These iconic scenes from Little Havana also serve as bullet points in Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera’s business plan. She hopes tourists will pay $45 a head for a trip through the Cuban side of Miami.

Her company, Miami-Cuba USA & Hispanic Florida Tours, is launching trolley tours of Little Havana and other Cuban-centric spots — from the Lady of Charity Shrine to the house where Elián González lived.”
