“The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation’s leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education, celebrates 31 years of giving by inducting five Hispanic leaders, including four former HSF scholars, into its fifth annual Alumni Hall of Fame, joining a select group of approximately 20 Latinos that have received this honor, including Surgeon General Richard Carmona, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez and Ambassador Tony Garza.

The Alumni Hall of Fame was created to showcase the stories of Hispanics who, through their accomplishments, contributions and lifetime challenges, demonstrate the power of higher education to change both individual lives and our society for the better. “
