“For a life dedicated to the advancement of minorities and the protection of civil rights, Phoenix’s Valle Del Sol will recognize Frank Carrillo of Tempe with the Latino Advocacy Champion award at its annual luncheon.
The luncheon will be held today at noon at Phoenix Civic Plaza at 111 N. Third St.
Valle Del Sol, a non-profit that offers scholarships and funding to Hispanic causes, also will recognize a dozen other leaders. “
