New Hispanic Chamber makes debut in region - Treasure Coast, Florida

“The group is the third Hispanic-based business group to have sprouted up along the Treasure Coast in the past couple of years, the ranks growing along with the region’s burgeoning Hispanic population.

From 2000 to 2005, the Hispanic population on the Treasure Coast has increased from 32,620 to 53,000, a 62 percent increase, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. During roughly the same time, Census data indicates that Hispanic-owned businesses in the tri-county region jumped 74 percent.”
