“The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation will honor 13 college students with scholarships and recognize a recently retired teacher.

Serenata 2006 will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Doubletree Hotel, 3100 Camino Del Rio Court. This is the 18th year that scholarships have been provided.”
