Hispanic march was peaceful demonstration in Culpeper County, Virginia

“They didn’t march. They casually walked, or strolled, so the young people and women pushing strollers could keep up. They carried banners that cast aspersions on bigotry and the phrase “illegal immigrants.”

They were neither angry nor defiant. They were just people doing what they felt had to be done. They felt they had to respond to a proposed town ordinance that would single out illegal immigrants and punish those who do business with them.”
