University of of New Mexico Collection Featured in Exhibit at National Hispanic Cultural Center

“A free public reception will be held Friday, Sept. 8, to highlight an exciting new exhibit at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The event, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature images from the Sam L. Slick Collection of Latin American and Iberian Posters at the Center for Southwest Research in University Libraries (CSWR) will be on display. The exhibit is titled “Latin American Posters: Public Aesthetics and Mass Politics.””
