“When Americo Nuñez decided to start a soccer league in Dover this year that was geared toward Hispanics, he was looking to fill a need in the area. As it turns out, that need was even greater than he thought.
Nuñez, of Dover, heads the Li Fucad soccer league, which plays its games on Sundays at Schutte Park. The league has more than 200 adult players taking part on 10 teams in a season that began in June and runs to October. Although the league targets the Latino community, it is open to all.”
