“Esperanza Health Center, a faith-based, non-profit community health care center serving Philadelphia’s Latino and underserved communities since 1989, will celebrate the opening of its new second facility at 2940 N. Fifth Street in North Philadelphia on Friday, Sept. 8 at 3 p.m. Through this new facility and its main facility, located at 1331 E. Wyoming Ave. in the Juniata section of Philadelphia, Esperanza Health Center will continue to expand access to affordable, comprehensive bilingual primary care services for thousands of individuals and their families in North Philadelphia. Among those scheduled to attend the opening include U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (news, bio, voting record) (R-Penn.), Pennsylvania State Reps. Angel Cruz and W. Curtis Thomas, Philadelphia City Councilman-at-Large Juan Ramos, and Philadelphia Interim Health Commissioner Carmen Paris”
