“For nearly 60 years, legendary comedian Guillermo Alvarez Guedes has been making people laugh and he has no plans to stop.

”I’ll never retire,” said Alvarez Guedes, 79, of Kendall. “Retiring is like dying.”

The Cuban American comedian, actor, author, filmmaker and businessman has the schedule to prove it. His latest stand-up routine at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach last month sold out. He’s still making CDs (32 so far).”
