“Latino activists are gearing up for Labor Day rallies around the state, similar to the May 1st immigration protests but on a smaller scale. They want to send a message loud and clear to Governor Schwarzenegger to sign bills that’ll help them regardless of immigration status.
Edgar Camacho, rally organizer: “The Latino community contributes a great deal to California and I don’t think they’re getting a whole lot back.”"
