Immigration issues tackled at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce forum in Georgia

“The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on Thursday with mariachis, guacamole and Coronas but also a message of inclusion and prosperity.

But by the end of the night, the event turned to political statements on illegal immigration.
“The idea is to create an understanding and build our community by working together,” said Tom Fricano, vice president of the Chamber of Commerce. “Sometimes you have to hear each other’s opinions to come together.””
