“The percentage of black and Hispanic students at New York’s three most prestigious high schools has declined, mirroring a trend recently reported at three of the City University of New York’s five most prestigious colleges, where the proportion of black students has dropped over the six years since tougher admissions policies were implemented.

As reported in The New York Times, black and Hispanic enrollment has declined at Stuyvesant High School, the Bronx High School of Science and Brooklyn Technical High School. Asian enrollment has surged at all three schools over the last decade, and white enrollment has declined at two of the three schools. “
