“The Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida, the philanthropic affiliate of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, has given the Hispanic Health Initiatives a $60,000 grant for one year.

The grant will sustain the Hispanic Health Initiatives’ diabetes program, a prevention and support program for Hispanics with Type II diabetes. The program aims to achieve behavioral and lifestyle changes by teaching solutions to problems associated with diabetes.”
