“Miami-based Fuego Entertainment has unveiled plans to launch a bilingual Hispanic network in the U.S.
The publicly traded company has issued a letter of intent to acquire 14 television stations for $11 million in cash and stock, including the assumption of liabilities.
“We were about to launch a single station in Puerto Rico, but when the opportunity to buy this network arose, we put that plan on hold,” said Fuego prexy-CEO Hugo Cancio.”
