“I’m sure many of you have heard of a great children’s book called Why Mommy is a Democrat. Written by Jeremy Zilber and illustrated by Fuliya Firsova, the book provides kids some perspective as to what Democrats are about. Let me tell you, not only is it a great little book, along with its subliminal illustrations (including an elephant running over a homeless person and destroying a park), it can really be inspiring. I think we have a pretty good recruitment tool and we can start them out when they’re really young.
