Clásica 92.3 Fm, Mega TV Channel 22 and CBS4 Join Forces During Hurricane Season for Unique Community Outreach Effort in Florida

“Clásica 92.3 FM, WSBS-Mega TV, and WFOR-TV CBS 4 announced today their plans to reach the Hispanic Community of South Florida with a local co-branding preparedness campaign during the 2006 Hurricane Season.

“The national weather service has announced that the 2006 hurricane season will be very active. The odds that a storm or a hurricane can strike our area are significant and we at SBS are ready to inform our audience,” said Jackie Nosti -Cambó, Vice-President and General Manager for SBS Radio-Miami.

Brien Kennedy, President and General Manager, CBS4, added, “We’re committed to keeping this community fully informed whenever a potential storm threatens our area. Our partnership with Mega TV and Clasica 92.3 FM will help ensure that Spanish-speaking television viewers and radio listeners will be able to benefit from the expertise and guidance provided by Bryan Norcross, David Bernard and our CBS4 team of meteorologists.” “
