“Baptist University of the Americas (BUA) today broke ground on a new 78-acre campus, the Baugh Family Campus, which will provide a new $4 million student housing complex, the 60,000 square-foot Piper Student Village, opening for the fall 2007 semester. Phase 2 of the project will include a learning resource center, dining facilities, a student center and student development offices. Phase 3 will add administrative and classroom space, a chapel and additional student housing with plans to invest approximately $50 million in campus development over the next 25 years.”
