“Brown-Forman Corp. has agreed to buy tequila producer Grupo Industrial Herradura, commonly known as Casa Herradura, for $876 million.

Guadalajara, Mexico-based Casa Herradura has about 1,100 employees and is the third-largest tequila manufacturer behind Cuervo and Sauza. The company was founded in 1870 by Don Felinciano Romo and still is privately held by the Romo family.”
