“The San Antonio art community came out to support native Vato Loco artist -Alex Rubio, who was asked to show at the McNay Museum in San Antonio, Tejaztlan. Alex Rubio is known for his longtime involvement in the mural scene with the SanAnto Cultural Center. He has been a mentor to several San Antonio artists and is active in the San Antonio art scene. The event included a musical performance of an arrangement by Philip Luna inspired by the piece exhibited.”
