Chamber president, board members spar over Joe Rodriguez in Central Texas

“The leadership of the Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has splintered in a dispute over an internal review, with the board president persuading one board member to resign and demanding that three others do the same.

In a contentious board meeting Wednesday, President Fidencio “JR” Marquez called on board secretary Ruben Santos, treasurer Vidal DeLeon and director Louis Salinas to step down. He accused them of leaking confidential information by answering the Tribune-Herald’s questions about the management review, board members said.”
