“Calhoun County’s population has declined by more than 3,300 in the past five years, but the number of Hispanics and Latinos has increased by more than 700, according to newly released census figures.

One of Calhoun County’s new Hispanic residents is Migdalia LeFlouria, 47, who said she moved to Kalamazoo from Puerto Rico in 1996, and to Battle Creek in 2000.”
