“In the latest effort to improve relations with the Hispanic community and promote an inclusive image to potential students, the University is overhauling its Center for Latino and Caribbean Studies (CLACS).

Last week, the University System Board of Regents approved the creation of a bachelor’s degree program in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University (LACSI) and renamed CLACS as the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute.”
