Azteca America :: Grupo Salinas’ Sergio Sarmiento to Participate in CSIS Roundtable on Mexican Elections
Tagged: aztec, Grupo Salinas, Mexico“Sergio Sarmiento — syndicated columnist, member of the Azteca America editorial committee, and one of Mexico’s most respected political commentators — will participate in an interactive breakfast discussion entitled Mexico’s Post Electoral Quandary & its Implications hosted by the Mexico Project of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC.
The event will be held on Friday, Aug. 18 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in the B1 conference center of CSIS, located at 1800 K St. NW.
The discussion will also feature Raul Avila Ortiz, former Coordinator of International Affairs for Mexico’s Federal Electoral Tribunal (TEJPJF) and faculty of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala; and Jeffrey Weldon, one of the foremost experts on the Mexican Congress and faculty at Mexico’s Instituto de Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
