“Marcelino Sumaya was a Mexican immigrant, but he soon developed a deep love for the United States and its opportunities for a better life through education.
“As a Mexican immigrant myself, I have been able to witness first hand the awesome transformation from Mexican immigrant to Mexican American,” he said. “I watch as immigrants come to love and cherish this great country that has offered them a better life.”
And now, his love for America and his pursuit of education have paid off.”
