3 people, 1 group to be honored for service to Latinos at University of Toledo, Ohio

“Three individuals and an organization have been chosen to receive this year’s Diamante awards, sponsored by four area higher-learning institutions to recognize achievements and service in the Latino community of northwest Ohio.

Jose Trevino will receive the Latino Adult Leadership Diamante award for his work as a member and leader of Educators and Community Helping Hispanics Onward and organizer of the Latino Youth Summit, which brings 600 youths to the University of Toledo campus. ECHHO promotes higher education to Latino students.”
