Tagged: book, La Raza“La Raza Galeria Posada, the cultural heart of Sacramento’s Latino community, is being transplanted for the fifth time in its pulsating history.
The combination book store, art gallery and performance space is leaving the R Street corridor for a temporary home at 1022-1024 22nd St. between J and K, which will hold a preview from 5 to 10 p.m. on Second Saturday this weekend.
Eroding finances forced La Galeria’s move from its sprawling 1421 R St. location next to the rockin’ Empire nightclub, said board chairman Mario Gutierrez.”
