“Tina Griego, local columnist for the Rocky Mountain News, has been named the Frank del Olmo Print Journalist of the Year by the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Griego won for “The North Side,” her yearlong series of columns about students, teachers and issues of school reform at predominantly Hispanic North High School in Denver.”
