“The historic ‘100-Hour Soccer Game,’ the longest soccer game on record in the United States, kicks off this Wednesday, August 9, at the new Bell Gardens Sports Center, located at 8000 Park Lane, Bell Gardens, California, 90201. This special game celebrates the 100-year history of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, Mexico’s most popular soccer club.

The action begins at 12 p.m. PT, with a press conference featuring Bell Gardens Mayor Pedro Aceituno and Chivas USA Co-Owner and President Antonio Cué, as well as Martí­n ZÚñiga, the honorary captain of the Chivas team, and Mauricio Cienfuegos, the honorary captain of the Rest of the World team. The group will take the field starting at 1 p.m. PT. “
